Between broken islands, the Buknesfjord and 4 Km from Nappstraumen, this destination offers an excellent, varied sea fishing. It's about 15 min by car from Leknes Airport and 4 hours by ferry from Bodø. The Rorbus are directly situated at the shore. All typical Norwegian Rorbus are completly equipped with bait & tackle service, a place for cutting the fillets and sufficient freezers as well, complete the services for the fishermen. Ballstad has appr. 1000 inhabitants, the place has very good possibilites for fishing. The Rorbus on Ballstad was fully renovated in 1990 with living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchenet w/oven, refr. and deep freeze. The boats are well-tried offshore boats, motorized between 10 an 40 Hp. |
